Last night, Husband said, "I already have tomorrow's location picked out."
Instant pressure! What colors do I have to work with? Is it modern? Shabby? Outdoors? All I got was "Grey with a red stripe." Well, I don't think he could have described it any better than that... I showed him four outfits and he approved this one. I didn't want to match the background, but I wanted to be simple.
Have I ever told you all how much I love my man? I swear, no one (other than my mom) understands me better. I sat up with him until 2 a.m., discussing life and things I want to do/work on/change, goals for the next few years, things I want to do with him and how I want us to participate in things together. It was such a great conversation and he was so receptive. Sometimes, I'm totally afraid I'm going to bombard him and he'll shut down. I don't get to spend a lot of quality time with Husband, you see, because he works night shift and we're on a wonky schedule. So when I DO get to see him, I feel like I have word vomit, and pack his brain full of a week's worth of thoughts/information/events. He took it so well. I love you, babe.
And once, again, I have to thank you for finding my beauty in a way that I haven't known how to, through today's photos.

We took Little S. to Sonic, last night, to play with her cousin on the big playground. They were so sweet together. Cousin was helping Little S. climb the stairs, go over the bridge, and go down the big slide. They held hands and slid down, together a few times, until Little S. felt comfy doing it, herself. But Cousin was never far behind. And always there to help when S. called. It was adorable. And it was good to catch up with Clarke's cousin and his wife. We live so close to each other, and originally, Little S. and Cousin were in daycare, together. But now Cousin goes to big girl school, and we miss out on seeing them too often! I think the mommies and girls are going to get together this weekend!

ReplyDeleteThat outfit is TOTALLY workin for ya! I can tell you have lost some weight, girl! :) And I definitely understand the working opposite schedules - did it for the first year of our marriage, and it stinks. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Your hubby is awesome at the pictures. Love!

ReplyDeleteI've actually gained a few lbs. :(

damper on time together!
What a good hubby to help you with your blog pictures!!! You look adorable here, and that background gets the thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so sweet. It's great that you can talk, and you can communicate to him the things you need to. I've been with my boyfriend for over 4 years, and we can still stay up all night talking. It the moments like that when you know you picked the right guy. Little S's cousin sounds really nice. Cousins are important, and fun to have.

ReplyDeleteCute dress/top! And I really like the different poses and angles in this post.
ReplyDeleteIt must be so tough working opposite schedules like that, but it seems like you guys have a really healthy relationship in spite of that, which is amazing. You're lucky :)
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit. That blue is a gorgeous color on you!
This Life, Redefined…stop by and say hi!
I love how the outfit and background worked together! you look so pretty on this pics! My aunt used to say if man takes your photo and look very-very pretty on it, be sure, he loves you a lot :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have to ask...that blue thing is a DRESS? I mean...I know you're on the vertically challenged side and that thing looks way too short on YOU to be a dress. However, it IS cute :)
ReplyDeleteanother reimagined dress??? love the leopard print :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, girlfriend. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought it from one of those stores that college girls go to buy "going
ReplyDeleteout" stuff. ;) If that helps explain ANYTHING.
I did wear it as a dress to a bachelorette party, but I wouldn't wear it
anywhere else as a dress!
I love this look on you. Your dress/tunic is beautiful. It makes me sad that you got it at a local boutique and not some place where I can go buy it!
ReplyDeleteAww! I wish I could give it to you, but I actually cut into it last night to
ReplyDeletemake some alterations!
